Vita Bad turns dreams into reality. We have been putting our heart and soul into our work for 40 years now.

The history of Vita Bad is a fascinating journey through the years, characterized by innovation, commitment and the unwavering pursuit of the highest quality. Since our foundation, we have consistently focused not only on building swimming pools, but on designing living spaces that combine pleasure, style and sustainability.

Today, Vita Bad AG is the leading provider of high-quality swimming pool systems, including the complete swimming pool technology, in the private swimming pool sector in German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. We install over 100 swimming pool systems in private gardens in Switzerland every year.

Our roots go back to 1983, when Vita Bad began as a small family business. The founding couple, Silvia and Anton Achermann, shared a vision of garden swimming pools that were more than just a place to swim. Rather, it should be a place to relax and unwind that also takes into account the aesthetic demands of the time. In the early days, Vita Bad produced around 10 to 15 garden swimming pools a year. Over time, the family business has grown. The two children, Ueli Achermann since 1997 and Gabi Hecht-Achermann since 2006, both grew up with swimming pool construction and took over the management of Vita Bad AG in 2008.
