Pool heaters

A pool heater allows you to extend the swimming season by several weeks in spring and fall.

During the summer months, you can even reach temperatures of up to 32°C. Depending on the heating capacity, it is also possible to heat the pool during the winter, but the energy consumption and costs should be taken into account. We will be happy to advise you on the ideal solution for your pool project. You have various options for heating your swimming pool:

Solar slats

The solar slats are seamlessly integrated into the automatic roller shutter cover. Thanks to their special design and properties, the solar heat is transferred directly to the water. This innovative heating solution is extremely popular and is the best-selling system of its kind. By using free solar energy, the swimming pool season is extended by several weeks. Many satisfied customers in Switzerland swear by this efficient system.

Air-to-water heat pump

The air-to-water heat pump works in a similar way to an inverted refrigerator. It draws in outside air through a fan, which then hits a refrigerant and vaporizes it. The evaporated refrigerant vapor is compressed by a compressor to release the stored energy. The heat pump is integrated directly into the filter circuit. The released energy then enters the pool water and heats it. The greater the temperature difference between the surroundings and the desired pool temperature, the more electricity is required to generate the heat.

Buying a heat pump heating system is worthwhile if you want to become independent of fossil fuels and switch to future-proof technology. As there is no combustion and the system itself does not release any CO₂ during heating, it is also ahead of the game in terms of sustainability. Another notable advantage is the low structural effort required for installation.

Heat exchanger

The tubular heat exchanger or plate heat exchanger is connected to the central heating system and has two hydraulic circuits. The primary circuit is the hot water that supplies the heat from the central heating system. The secondary circuit is the swimming pool water, which is heated. The two circuits do not come into direct contact with each other, but are routed past each other. The larger the heat-transferring surface, the more efficient the heating effect.

A heat exchanger is only permitted if renewable heating energy is used. The power consumption must also be clarified with your heating installer.
