Manual or fully automatic water treatment
Manual: With manual water treatment, care products such as chlorine, bromine, or active oxygen are added approximately once a week. The time required is around 10 to 15 minutes. Annual costs vary depending on water temperature, pool size, and weather conditions, and typically amount to approximately CHF 400.- to CHF 700.-.
Fully automatic: The VitaPool Control system makes water treatment fully automatic, reducing your effort to an absolute minimum. With the VitaPool Control Salt system, only 0.6 grams of salt per liter are added to the pool water, corresponding to a salt concentration of just 0.06%. For comparison: the Mediterranean Sea has a salinity of 3.8%, and human tears contain around 0.9%. Thanks to this hydrolysis process, the use of industrially produced chemicals such as chlorine, active oxygen, bromine, or ozone can be completely eliminated.
Thanks to a network connection, the entire system can be monitored remotely, allowing you to control it around the clock via your tablet, smartphone, or KNX system. This remote access also enables Vita Bad to check the system, review the values, and contact you if necessary.
Remote maintenance
The automatic water treatment systems can be equipped with a network connection and remote maintenance functionality. This allows the relevant water parameters to be transmitted directly to a Vita Bad AG server and - depending on the agreed service contract - continuously monitored by our service team.
VitaPool Control can alternatively be operated with chlorine instead of salt, while retaining the benefits of ease of use and remote maintenance.
Automatic water treatment systems must be installed in frost-protected rooms, ideally near the filtration equipment in a basement or garage. Depending on the type of water treatment used, annual maintenance and service costs typically range from approximately CHF 1'400.- to CHF 2'500.-.
