FAQ

Even with careful maintenance and regular care, there may be times when your pool water values are no longer perfectly balanced.

Water is a sensitive element that can easily be affected by various factors. External influences such as the use of fertilizers near the pool, heavy pool usage, or changing weather conditions can all have a significant impact on your pool water quality. We strive to provide you with continuous support and service, but there may still be occasions when the water quality deteriorates. For this reason, we have compiled the most common questions and answers to help you take action yourself when needed. Of course, during our opening hours, we are always happy to assist you with expert advice and support.

Possible causes
Disinfection, circulation, backwashing

Solution approach

  • Check whether disinfection of the pool is guaranteed.
  • Check whether the circulation is intact (skimmer not full of leaves, pump pre-filter free of leaves, circulation pump running at level 2, etc.).
  • Backwash regularly (once a week).

Possible cause

Flocculation, limescale or external influences

Solution approach

  • Set the speed of the flocculation pump to the minimum.
  • Check the pH value. If the pH value is too high, limescale can form in the pool. Set value 7.0 - 7.4.

Possible cause
Cover has not been opened for a long time.

Solution approach
Open the pool cover regularly.

Possible cause
Disinfection, circulation

Solution approach

  • Check whether disinfection of the pool is guaranteed.
  • Take a hand measurement.
  • Check whether the circulation is intact.
  • Clean the green areas in the pool by hand or with the pool robot.

Possible cause:
Backwash

Solution approach:

  • Carry out a longer backwash (2 minutes).
  • Do a backwash once a week.

Possible cause:
Probes are not correct, water values are not correct

Solution approach:

  • Take a manual measurement and compare the values with the measurement on the device. Target value 7.0 - 7.4.
  • If the measured values do not match, the pH value should be brought back to the target value manually using Ph-Plus or Ph-Minus.

Possible cause:
Probes are not correct, water values are not correct

Solution approach:

  • Take a hand measurement and compare the values with the measurement on the device.
  • Please contact us.

Possible cause:
Cell calcified or too little salt in the pool

Solution approach:

Check the hydrolysis cell. If there are NO white deposits, add salt to the pool. (Per missing 10% - 1 kg salt per 10m3 water)

Possible cause:
Setpoint has been reached or FL1 alarm

Solution approach:

  • Check whether the set target value 680 has been reached.
  • Check whether the system is running (observe filter times).
  • Hydrolysis to 0% at an MV value of 680 or more is good!

Possible cause:
Outside filter times or FL1 alarm

Solution approach:

  • Check whether the LED on the flocculation pump is lit.
  • Check whether the system is running (observe filter times).

Possible cause:
Weather influence, bathing intensity

Solution approach:
Take a hand measurement and compare the values with the measurement on the device.

Possible cause:
Wear, defect

Solution approach:
Take a hand measurement and compare the values with the measurement on the device.
