Collaboration with Andrea Ellenberger
The company Vita Bad AG, based in Ermensee LU, supports the Swiss Ski World Cup skier Marco Odermatt and the Swiss Ski World Cup skier Andrea Ellenberger. Individuality, Swiss quality and their origins in Central Switzerland are what connects the athletes with the family business.
Vita Bad AG recently announced that it would be supporting Andrea Ellenberger in addition to Marco Odermatt, whose successes in the Ski World Cup are making the whole of Switzerland dream. What makes this support particularly valuable for the skier from Central Switzerland is the timing of the announcement of the commitment. After a promising start to the season, Andrea Ellenberger tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee in a crash during giant slalom training in Zinal last December. The 27-year-old from Nidwalden then had to end the season prematurely and is currently in recovery training following an operation. «I'm putting all my energy into rehabilitation. Every athlete in my situation knows how difficult such a process is, especially mentally,» says the athlete from Nidwalden. The fact that Vita Bad AG decided to support her as a bottle sponsor for the next three seasons during her injury phase and despite the generally difficult circumstances surrounding Covid-19 means a great deal to her and gives her an extra boost of motivation. «Support like this cannot be taken for granted and also shows me the human scale and family values of this company.»

The two owners, Ueli Achermann and Gabi Hecht-Achermann, look to the future with confidence: «We are very impressed by Andrea Ellenberger's will and motivation to fight her way back to the top even after injuries. She has proven in the past what an exceptional athlete she is and we are delighted to be supporting her in the World Cup.» As a leading provider of high-quality swimming pool facilities, Vita Bad AG's product range also includes various wellness and massage options that support both rehabilitation and mental well-being after a hard day's training.
