Beschreibung
APF is a multi-spectrum coagulant and flocculant and contains a unique combination of 5 active flocculant and coagulant components.
When APF is used in combination with ZPN, particles down to 0.1 μ (micrometers, i.e. 0.0001mm) can be filtered out.
The consumption of chlorine and the formation of harmful chlorine by-products are reduced.
APF can remove more organic substances than any other classic flocculant. The more organic substances are filtered out, the fewer THMs (chloroform) can be produced. APF also filters out chlorine-resistant pathogens from the water, such as cryptosporidia and giardia.
APF also contains NoPhos. NoPhos is a natural coagulant that removes phosphates dissolved in the water. Phosphates are nutrients for algae and bacteria. APF inhibits the growth of these organisms.
