VitaPool Control
This fully automatic pool control system keeps a constant eye on your pool. You can conveniently monitor your water quality via an app.
Round-the-clock monitoring
This innovative form of monitoring has fundamentally transformed pool maintenance, giving pool owners the freedom to check their water quality from anywhere, at any time.
The control systems can be connected to the internet, allowing monitoring via app or web browser. The aim is to track water parameters and provide a clear history overview. At the same time, this enables us to monitor your water values remotely and intervene if necessary.

Salt hydrolysis - the natural chlorine substitute
A more pleasant feeling
«Water quality is, of course, a major topic when it comes to pools. Nowadays, except for pure stainless steel pools and public facilities—where regulations apply—there is no longer any reason to use chlorine», explains Ueli Achermann, owner of Vita Bad AG. The cost of a saltwater system is comparable to that of a chlorine solution, but maintenance is significantly lower.

The swimming experience continues to surprise many Vita Bad customers. The water feels softer and more pleasant, and there is often no need for body lotion afterwards. The skin generally feels healthier, and the issue of red eyes while swimming almost disappears.
Low salt concentration
The reason lies in the low salt concentration used in hydrolysis.
For comparison: the Mediterranean Sea has an average salinity of 3.8 %, human tears contain 0.9 % while pool water with a salt system has a maximum of just 0.06 %. «This is barely noticeable,» says Ueli Achermann, «which is why we now install almost exclusively fully automatic salt-based water treatment systems. The system has also evolved to the point where it can be conveniently controlled via an app.»
Water parameters can be monitored
This has the advantage that Vita Bad also has access to the VitaPool Control system and can monitor the pool's water parameters. «We can contact the customer if we see that a value is not within the correct range.»
Either regenerating salt - commonly used in household water softening systems - or sea salt is used. Compared to a chlorine-based system, this saves around CHF 1'000.- per year in maintenance costs.

Conclusion
Saltwater systems cost the same as chlorine systems, but are much more economical to maintain and offer a simple, low-chemical, and therefore more natural solution for private pools.
Benefits for your wallet, the environment, your health, and an overall more pleasant swimming experience. Plenty of good reasons for pool owners to choose natural salt.
