The control units can be connected to the internet and therefore allow monitoring via app or browser. The aim is to monitor the water values and display the history. At the same time, it gives us the opportunity to check your water values remotely and intervene if necessary.

A more pleasant feeling
«Water quality is of course a major issue in a pool. There is now no reason to use chlorine, except for pure stainless steel pools and in public pools, where this has to do with regulations,» explains Ueli Achermann, owner of Vita Bad AG. The cost of a salt system is identical to the chlorine solution, but the maintenance is much lower.
The swimming experience is always amazing for many Vita Bad customers. The water feels softer and more pleasant and they no longer need body lotion afterwards. The skin is generally healthier. The problem of red eyes after bathing has almost completely disappeared.
Low salt concentration
The reason for this is the low salt concentration during hydrolysis.
For comparison: the Mediterranean contains 3.8 % of salt, our tear fluid contains 0.9 % and pool water with a salt system only has a maximum of 0.06 %. «You hardly notice that any more,» says Ueli Achermann, «which is why we now almost exclusively use fully automatic salt-based water treatment systems. The system has now been further developed so that it can be controlled via an app.»
Water values can be monitored
The advantage of this is that Vita Bad also has access to the VitaPool Control system and can therefore monitor the water values in the pool. «We can contact the customer if we see that a value is incorrect.»
Either regenerating salt, which many people know from domestic descaling systems, or sea salt is used. Compared to a chlorine system, you save around CHF 1000 per year on maintenance.
Conclusion
Salt systems cost the same as chlorine systems, but are much cheaper to maintain and offer a simple, chemical-free and therefore natural solution for private pools.
